Ziwa Sanctuary Tour 2 Days

Ziwa Sanctuary Tour 2 Days

This Ziwa Sanctuary Tour 2 days will allow you an afternoon walk in the bush, tracking and observing Uganda’s only White Rhino population as well as the opportunity to experience the wetland wildlife on an early morning canoe safari experience.

The sanctuary offers a secure place where rhino populations can be expanded by breeding, protected from human and non-human predators and gradually be re-introduced into Uganda’s national parks, while at the same time allowing the public to enjoy these majestic animals, as the project moves forward.  The sanctuary also provides a safe haven for a healthy population of smaller game species, notably the beautiful bush buck and an abundance of wetland birdlife, including the rare and elusive shoebill stork.
